When it comes to showing love, there are no limits; only endless possibilities. Do not be scarce. Letting a loved one know that their loved doesn’t stop with saying those three words. Be creative, be thoughtful, and be unique. But most of all, be sincere.

Be generous with affection. In a loving relationship, physical affection is important to constantly reaffirm your bond and deep feelings for each other. Isn’t it wonderful that a simple kiss, hug, or hand hold can easily convey what is in our hearts? Start and end your day with a kiss, give them a hug when you see them, randomly hold their hand and give it a squeeze while you’re both watching a movie. The most important thing is, not to let the day end without sharing affection.  

Never get tired of doing the little things. Most of the time, it’s the little but often overlooked acts that show how much we care and value a person. It can be something as simple as treating her like a princess even after years of being together or doing something out of your character just to see him smile. Even if you don’t always get a big hug or an exclamation of happiness for every little act, doing it because you love the other person is reward enough in itself.

Give pleasant surprises every now and then. Surprises don’t always have to be grand acts and expensive presents. Think of simple pleasures that will make your loved one happy like bringing her a dessert at night, making a mix CD of his favorite music, taping an episode of her favorite show that she missed, buying flowers for her, getting him that book he’s been constantly talking about. Putting more thought into your surprise, show’s how much you love a person.

There are countless ways of saying you “I love you” without resorting to words. Simple, sincere, unique, and thoughtful acts such as those that we can do every day will clearly spell out “I Love You and you’re so beautiful to me.” <3
